Looking for a unique escape room in San Francisco? This immersive experience combines puzzle-solving with a full cocktail flight, making it one of the only escape rooms in SF where drinks are part of the experience. Each player receives three themed cocktails or mocktails while interacting with a live actor, solving puzzles, and progressing through a story-driven environment inspired by Wonderland. It’s designed as an interactive night out, not just a traditional escape room.

What to Expect During the Experience

This is a 60-minute immersive escape room experience built around storytelling, interaction, and problem-solving. You’ll explore themed environments, engage directly with a live actor, and solve puzzles that are woven into the experience. Drinks are served as part of the journey, making it more social and engaging than a standard escape room in San Francisco.

All bookings are private. You will not be grouped with strangers. This makes it ideal for date nights, birthdays, and small group outings, as well as team building events in San Francisco. Group sizes are intentionally limited to keep the experience interactive and personal.

Pricing and Booking Information

Pricing varies based on group size and time slot. Due to limited availability, booking in advance is recommended. Each guest receives a flight of three drinks. One cocktail is selected during booking, and the remaining drinks are themed selections included in the experience. Non-alcoholic options are available.

Before and After Your Booking

There are a few things to know before and after booking your experience:

BEFORE:

  • Your Drink Selection Upon Booking Will Apply To Your Entire Party

    Every person in your party will receive a flight of three cocktails or mocktails. You’ll choose one cocktail from the menu when booking. The other two drinks are pre-selected, themed options including a berry and peach potion. Non-alcoholic preferences can be specified.

  • Special Requests & Group Details

AFTER:

  • Sign Waivers

    It’s quick and will ensure you feel immersed in the experience upon arrival. If not completed ahead of time, QR codes will be available onsite.

  • Show Up 10 minutes early or earlier
    We have food, drinks, and other fun things like board games and a cocktail puzzle series. Guests are also welcome to check out the speakeasy before or after their experience.

  • 100% Our team is there to make sure your group has an amazing time, every step of the way.

  • WONDERLAND was designed to welcome new players to the world of escape rooms, and for more seasoned players, a chance to step back and just enjoy the journey. Our live actor will stay in character as they guide your group through the journey with plenty of stories and pictures to share.

  • For groups of seven, our rate starts at $86.50 per person. This bespoke experience includes a flight of cocktails, up to 100 minutes of gameplay, and a live actor throughout the entire experience.

  • Yes, all escape room bookings made through our website are private. Your experience will be just for your group, never shared with strangers.

    Coming soon: We’re partnering with Eventbrite to offer themed Escape Room sessions where you can join guests with shared interests, like Pickleball, Being a Dog Owner, Learning a Musical Instrument, and more!

  • Due to popular demand (and enough playtesting for safety), we have added an option to include a 7th person into the experience. That said, we still recommend groups of 5-6 for the best experience!

  • Our recommendation for a room size depends on the experience you want: if you want everyone to actively engage on a different puzzle throughout the experience, we recommend 2-3.

    If you or your friends are more interested in the experience of 'being together with friends in an escape room' or 'adventuring together', we recommend a group size of 5-6 per room. There will not be enough puzzles to entertain 5 escape room enthusiasts, but think of all the fun you'll have chatting inside and outside of the room!

  • We became a 21+ restaurant and bar Christmas 2025 but we do still allow guests under this age to enjoy our private escape room experiences.

    We’ve had guests as young as nine go through with much success. For the best experience, we recommend visiting on Monday or Tuesday, or before 6pm, as the space gets busier with adults later in the evening.

  • No, WONDERLAND is inspired by the children's novel Alice in Wonderland. While our final room includes some thrilling moments, it is not "scary" or frightening.

  • Absolutely! You can choose your favorite drinks from our menu in the interest form. After booking, we’ll send you more details via email. Please note that all guests in your party will receive the same drink selection. For more details, feel free to explore our food-inspired cocktail menu.

  • Yes, not a problem. Many of our cocktails can be made non-alcoholic. So upon booking, just make sure you or the organizer chooses a cocktail that can be turned into a mocktail.

    If a cocktail that cannot be turned into a mocktail is chosen, we will replace the drink with non-alcoholic apple cider.

  • WONDERLAND is meant to be enjoyed with friends and family, not raced through. We don’t have a leaderboard or fastest-time record, but if you’d like to know your group’s completion time, just ask your game-master at the end!
