Return & Exchange Policy

At Lore SF, we’ve spent a lot of time researching best practices in the escape room and hospitality communities—and one thing we’ve seen again and again is how refund policies can create critical issues that hurt small, experience-driven businesses like ours. Because of this, we’ve made the clear decision to not offer refunds. Instead, we’ve created a flexible exchange policy to support guests whose plans may change, while also protecting the time, care, and resources we invest into every experience. We thank you for understanding.
Escape Room Bookings
You may reschedule your booking at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled start time.
Note: No-shows are not eligible for exchange. Late arrivals (15 minutes or more past the start time) may still participate in the remainder of their experience but are not eligible for exchange.
Private Events
Private or Semi-private group bookings involving a deposit can be rescheduled with at least 48 hours notice.
Full Venue Buyouts
Full venue bookings involving a deposit must be rescheduled at least 7 days in advance to allow for proper coordination.
To request a change, please email info@loresf.com with your booking details and preferred date or time—we’ll do our best to accommodate you!
Conduct Policy
To maintain a safe and magical environment for all guests and staff, we have the following conduct requirements:
NO PREGAMING POLICY: Guests may not arrive intoxicated. If you or anyone in your party is visibly drunk, belligerent, or disruptive, we reserve the right to deny entry or ask you to leave.
In these cases, no refunds or exchanges will be issued to the individuals involved.
