Hello Soft-opening Guests!

I’m writing with a heavy heart to let you know that we need to move our soft opening from tomorrow Thursday, June 5th to next Thursday June 12, 2025.

I tried my best to juggle every part of building an escape room… and speakeasy (technically a restaurant) but wasn’t able to pull it all together in time. The escape room build ended up taking over most of the space in our speakeasy, and I simply ran out of hours in the day, even with just a couple hours of sleep most days. We made so much progress but also could not control situations that arose from electrical issues with our Escape Room and critical equipment delivery delays with the Speakeasy. It became too much and my wonderful employees and I were burning out quickly. We don’t want to give you a subpar experience, and will need another week to bring it all home. I learned a lot through the experience, but am so sorry if this change affected your plans! There were so many birthday bookings and it KILLS me to not make something happen for you! 😩 😩

If you’d consider visiting us another time, I want to thank you for being one of the first to believe in us and for wanting to celebrate at Lore. Besides the complimentary appetizers and aperitif on our opening weekend next week, you’ll also receive an entrée voucher for any visit of your choice in the future—just bring a friend and show your cancellation email when you dine with us. 

I hope we’ll still get the chance to welcome you to Lore SF, even if it’s a week later than planned. Thank you again, from the bottom of my heart. We hope to serve you better next time!
